Lanculus is sentient tissue. It uses its telepathy to simulate an electronic grid across its membrane. It can control its cytoplasm as if they were hands. They grow and shrink depending on how much water they've had. No matter how old they are, Lanculus remains as twelve cells, each having their own specific purpose.
