Muskippa used Gastro Acid!

Muskippa is a being of tangling vines. It lurks in night, waiting for people carrying Berries to pass through its domain, and that’s when it strikes. It marks its possessions (and purloined possessions) by spitting acid onto them. It then stores them in its mouth as it slowly digests. The older a Muskippa is, the longer and gnarlier looking their tentacles.
